"Made from white wine with honey and herbs added recreates Mead, the drink of the ancient Gauls and Anglo Saxons which was made from fermented honey and water. Mead soon made its way into the courts of the Four Kings of Ireland and no banquet was complete without it. Bunratty Meade can be drunk chilled before meals or as a relaxing after dinner drink.
