I am floored by the incredible value delivered by this blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Sangiovese. The 2016 I Veroni shows attractive darkness and thick color saturation. The bouquet unfolds with a long succession of dark fruit, cherry and spice aromas. This wine also has a well-developed savory side with tobacco and leather.
